Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus holds out one finger, and a tiny bird — a sparrow or finch — perches on it confidently. Jesus is looking down at the bird with a gentle smile, and His other hand rests at His side. The background is soft and unfocused, with a few branches and leaves suggesting an outdoor setting. This is one of the quietest pages in the set — no crowd, no action, just a moment of connection between Jesus and one small creature. The bird's feathers and the subtle expression on Jesus' face give kids careful, detailed work while the overall mood stays peaceful.
Suggested Scripture: Matthew 10:31 (NIV) — So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what they think the bird is feeling. Most will say "safe" or "calm." Then ask why a wild bird would trust Jesus like that.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. Jesus cares about even the smallest birds. And He cares about you even more.
- For Sunday school: focus on the "worth more than many sparrows" line. Ask, "What does it mean to be 'worth more'? How do you know you're valuable?"
- For family devotion: read Matthew 10:26–31. Then have each family member say one thing they're worth to God. No wrong answers.
Print and activity tips
- Color the bird in soft browns and grays — natural sparrow colors — with a tiny bit of white on the wings.
- Keep Jesus' robe in warm, muted tones; nothing should compete with the bird for attention.
- Add a few soft leaves in the background using light greens; they should feel like they're far away.
Discussion questions
- Why do you think the bird isn't scared of Jesus?
- Jesus said you're worth more than many sparrows. What's one thing that makes you valuable?
- Have you ever had a wild animal trust you? What did it feel like?
- The bird is tiny, but Jesus notices it. What does that tell you about how God sees you?
- If you could be any bird for a day, which one would you be and why?
