Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus stands beside a camel in a desert landscape. The camel is kneeling slightly so Jesus can reach its neck, and one of Jesus' hands rests gently on the camel's fur. In the background, there are low dunes and a few palm trees in the distance. The sky is clear with a soft sun. This page is less common in children's religious art — camels don't show up often in Jesus stories except for the wise men — but it fits with the idea that Jesus is connected to all creation, including the animals of the regions where He lived. The camel's textured fur, the sand dunes, and the distant palms give kids varied work while Jesus stays central.
Suggested Scripture: Job 12:10 (NIV) — In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids where they've seen camels in Bible stories. Most will say "the wise men." Then ask why a camel would be in a picture with Jesus.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. Jesus loves all animals, even ones we don't see every day. The camel knows Jesus is kind.
- For Sunday school: focus on the Job verse. God holds the life of every creature. Ask, "What does it mean that God holds your life too?"
- For family devotion: read Job 12:7–10. Ask, "What's one animal or creature that reminds you of God's creativity?"
Print and activity tips
- Color the camel in warm tans and browns — natural desert colors.
- Use soft yellows and oranges for the sand dunes; layer them to suggest distance.
- Add a pale blue sky with a soft yellow sun; it should feel like a warm, quiet day.
Discussion questions
- Camels aren't usually in stories about Jesus. Why do you think the artist included one here?
- The verse says God holds the life of every creature. What does "hold" mean — like holding something in your hand?
- Have you ever been close to a camel or another animal you don't see often? What was it like?
- God made animals for every place — deserts, oceans, forests. What's your favorite place and what animals live there?
- If you could travel anywhere with Jesus, where would you go and what animals would you see?
